Neji doesn´t need to make Heavenly Spin constatly (though against the fight against Kidoumaru we saw that he can use it a lot of times, remember that Neji only stopped using it because Kidoumaru found a way to top it with his spiderweb and not because Neji couldn´t use it anymore). But anyway, Haku wouldn´t be able to hide in the Mirrors and make surprise attacks, as Byakugan can locate the real Haku in any moment: this way Neji wouldn´t even need to use Heavenly Spin, as he would already know where the attacks will come from. Kidoumaru´s attacks weren´t random, he discovered what Neji´s blindspot was and also he could control the trayectory of his projectiles with his web to keep them at the blindspot as they approached Neji. Haku can´t do this, he can only shoot needles in a straight line, which makes it even easier for Neji to locate where they are coming from so he even doesn´t need to use Heavenly Spin: he can simply avoid them or stop them with a localized chakra release. Also, Kidoumaru had to get far away from Neji to exit the Byakugan´s area of vision, while Haku can´t escape without dispelling his technique...so he will constantly be watched by Byakugan. That is why I think Neji can win easily this fight: it doesn´t mean he was stronger than Naruto and Sasuke at the time, just that Haku´s technique is completely useless against Byakugan. Sasuke could negate it with Sharingan (and he was just starting to learn how Sharingan works), he only lost because he protected Naruto. Neji on the other hand was already an advanced Byakugan user at the time, so he wouldn´t have been caught by surprise in the begining as Sasuke was. Also, by been able to totally crush someone as fast as Lee makes me think that Neji can keep up with fast attacks like Haku´s needles (and since they are long range attacks, he will still have more time to react to them). So I think that Haku wouldn´t have been able to lay an attack on him.
To attack himself Neji could have destroyed the mirrors by embedding his chakra on them, little by little destroying the technique. Once all mirrors are gone and Haku can´t run away he has nothing to do on a face to face fight against the most advanced Konoha taijutsu technique

This is something we´ll never know...We still haven´t seen Neji use his new powers either, we only know that he has become a Jounin and that he was able to escape Water Prison (and free Lee and Tenten ) performed by an Akatsuki member: a technique that even Kakashi couldn´t escape against Zabuza. And we also don´t know what crazy Ice techniques Haku would have developed...

In fact they say just te opposite: that Neji always defeats Lee with no sweat...I like Lee a lot, but it´s been made clear that even though his taijutsu skills are great, they can´t do a thing against the Soft Fist style...

Yeah, this could happen. Or not, Lee´s already very fast and strong but that doesn´t stop him from being beaten by Neji, so maybe by just putting this skills at the maximum it wouldn´t be enough...What I´d really like to see is a fight Drunken Fist against Soft Fist, it would be really espectacular and this time I think Lee would have the advantage (Drunken Fist doesn´t raise Lee´s strength or speed but it makes him really hard to catch and makes his attacks totally unpredictable, that´s why I think this technique may give him the required skills to beat Neji´s taijutsu).

Neji is the greatest because look at the ig picture. Kurenai jjust become Jounin when Hinata got out of the Academy and she is like 20 something. Neji is 4 years out of the Acedemy and is already Jounin. He had already learned all of the Hyuuga Secrets when he was just 13 and without any tutoring. Pure genius. He also beat a person he had a 1% chance of beating and that is Kidoumaru. Not only that but his attacks are flawless.

Ahh.... Neji. How awesome you be. It's too bad that everybody in the Naruto world is pretty much obsolete (spelling?..). It's now all about..well..the main character obviously, Sasuke..and..well..Madara. Kakashi has become a total loser, Sakura is back to being worthless, and Neji/Gai/Rock lee are always up and about in missions but magically never see combat even though they're kind of like the combat team or the Squad 11 of Naruto (Tenten doesn't count cuz she's not even a has-been...she sucks hard. Probably.) I still love the show/manga though but I'd like there to be a couple more...powerful characters every now and then

well that's a poorly developed story for u. most mangas start out great but then go downhill after achieving a level of fame and success. u just keep getting stronger enemies and the not-so-strong side characters become poop. it's a fad i guess, since the creators of naruto and bleach were fans of dragonball.

Yeah. DBZ was always about Goku and then they'd use Vegeta as a measuring stick to prove how strong Goku got AFTER Vegeta starts owning ass and then gets own hard when the main enemy comes. Freiza, Android 18, Cell, the dragon dude from GT. Poor dude. Got owned all the time. The only DBZ guy to ever have a broken arm lol
