Id really liked to c jiraiya vs itachi because itachi rly pwns but he ran away from jiraiya and he even had kisame wit him. But then again itachis mangekyou takes alot of his chakra and he jus used it. I also havnt seen iraiya fight enuf to c how good he is. Any1 care to elaborate who they think is better?

I think itachi will win.... remember that he doesnt rely on his sharingan only....
He's the fastest i think in performing seals so probably itachi will win

I don't know. Probably Itachi. But Jiraya would give us a nice battle fighting him. I'd really like to see it

it would be a great battle between this two guys. remember that jiraiya is a legendary sannin like orochimaru. while, itachi has blooline limit for his sharingan.

Jiraiya will win, remember that when Itachi was with Kisame they didn´t attack him because they said that even if they managed to kill him they both will die too. So just Itachi against Jiraiya...

The weird thing is that it seems that Orochimaru can´t defeat Itachi on his own, but he´s equal or better than Jiraiya...

i've always thought that was weird too. but i don't recall orochimaru ever saying that he was too weak to fight itachi just that itachi had become too powerful for orochimaru to take over his body.

Well, Itachi is cooler and better imo. And theres arguments for both sides. Orochimaru claims he can beta Jiraiya but not Itachi. That's enough evidence for me.

lol that one piece of eveidence satisfies you? Itachi and kisame have ran away/avoided jiryaiya alot because they couldnt take him in a fight

Orochimaru never said he couldn't beat Itachi, just that Itachi had become too powerful for Orochimaru to take over his body.
and also if Itachi was stronger then Orochimaru and Jiraiya, why would he have run from Jiraiya while he had Kisame (who has an insane amount of chakra) with him. That tells me that he doesn't think the two of them are strong enough to take Jiraiya down together

i think it'll end up with a draw where both of them will be dead.

i think jiraya would win...because jiraya is a student of the hokage and he was never in a condition to fight...i really think he could also win against orochimaru....

itachi just ran coz his not that stupid to fight with someone that dn't have a purpose to fight for.. they came their for naruto not to fight with jiraiya.. also remember everything that itachi does has a purpose.. like what he did to sasuke.. he didn't kill him coz he know his brother will grow up better.. and leaving him with that painful memory can help him grow more stroger.. i think itachi just did that coz he is the best.. and noone can cmpete with his skill and he needs someone that can fight with him and give him a chalenge so he decided that his brother could be that someone..

and another thing.. remember that he didn't also kill asuma and the other jenin and also kakashi when they encounter in the village.. he can easily kill those 3 jounins including kakashi.. but.. he decided that he just show kakashi how strong he is by performing mangkyu to kakashi..

so to me.. i think itachi will win.. but i know jiraiya could also give itachi a gud fight..

yea... hmm den jiraiya should be the one winning lol.

yeah i know.. of course they loose all anbu and other jounins.. vs just the two of them.. ofcourse they loose bcoz of running out of chakra.. but the point is.. if it is only against those 3.. they could be easily beaten by itachi.. itachi just withdraw from there bcoz he's not that stupid facing all those jounin and anbu by himself and kizame right? just corect me if im wrong.. and besides.. remember they didn't went there to kill those ninja's but they are after for naruto.. so its useless to fight with them.. and another thing remember kakashi was down for few days after experincing mangekyu.. itachi did that to kakashi so that kakashi will feel the power of itachi..

for jiraiya..on a 1 on 1 fight im just wandering if how can he fight itachi.. what style would he use..?? if itachi will use his sharingan.. u can only fight with it by looking at his feet.. ( gai ) or if u have also a sharingan.. coz.. an eye contact with a sharingan is very deadly coz he can perform jutso by just looking in his eyes..
