How strung do you guys think his wall really is. It would be interesting to see if it could stand up to chidori or something.

i doubt its that strong i mean cmon it bugs, they cant be trusted i would run like hell if i was a bug and ther was a chidori comin at me

chidori would probably fry all the bugs in its way and force a hole in the bug wall.

the bugs could probably stop lee's taijutsu and the humn boulder. rasengan might be able to get through but then the bugs might just eat up all that chakra and stop it.

ill agree wit aero on all that. and i think the rasengan would definitly get thru jus like the chidori

i don't know i gotta disagree with the rasengan....it's not as strong as chidori, so i think if shino could put up enough bugs, he could have the it pass through the first layer, but as it got through more layers it would get eaten/

nah i think chidori and rasengan have same power (member this is all opinion ). Chidori is piercing and is a quick burst but extremely powerful type of attack while rasengan has the outward burst and pushes the opponent away (while rotating them) and so i think it would push thru all the bugs and reach shino.

Be that as it may, Shino is smarter than to just sit there and wait and see whether his sheald will hold or not. The moment before the chidori/rasengan hit, Shino could have his Kakaichu cover the attacker while he Kawami's out of harms way. Unless the attackie somehow gets the Kakaichu off them in less than a minute, he will be out of chakra.

Well seeing as chidori is a lump of chakra the bugs could try and eat it while he's breaking through. Longshot but hey?!

I think Chidori would pierce it. Rasengan would blow a portion of it away. Fang over Fang propably wouldn't peirce it, but with twin headed wold and fang over fang it would probably tear through the wall pretty easily.

I think both can pierce through it, but Rasengan will definitely perform better. It´s rotation will just throw the bugs away, thus allowing him to have a clear shot at Shino, while Sasuke´s Chidori will loose strength by having to pass through the bugwall. Just remember the fight Naruto-Sasuke in the hospital and what Naruto´s Rasengan did to the water tank...

Rashoumon, even Orochimaru uses it. I think it´s the strongest defense, even though it will only block direct attacks, while BugWall protects from attacks coming from everywhere.

And what do you think, BugWall or Neji´s Heavenly Spin?

definetely nejis rotation. remember not only does it block, but it also sends the attack back,so an attack wont have time to break through

I don´t think the bugs will be able to eat Neji´s chakra while he´s spinning, in this sense this attack is similar to rasengan (a huge amount of chakra spinning) so I think the motion will just send the bugs flying. Anyway, in a fight I think Shino has the upper hand because of his longest range...and because he doesn´t use chakra at all (just to feed the bugs), even though Neji´s taijutsu by itself is deadly...hehe, this would be a great fight, specially after the time skip (Neji has now long range moves, but I´m sure Shino has gained some cool techniques...maybe a giant Cockroach Summon??? )

Lol, i didn't mean fighting wise, i meant comparing the bug walls defensive power against the heavenly spin.
AAAND i finally found a way to compare chidori and rasengan using "modern" examples based on them attacking the water tanks.
Chidori : A piercing attack, breaks through the "skin"(using as example) without creating a large hole.
Remind you of a Knife at all?
Rasengan : No piercing at all, more of a high powered blunt force trauma that will knock something back(or break bone in human body example).
Like A baseball bat.

So this is just like comparing a knife and a baseball bats effect on say a pillow. The Knife will pierce it hitting whatever is behind it. The baseball bat will knock it back with so much force it's able to hit the object behind it.
