I didn´t expect him to die, specially after he made all the way through ´till the reinforcements arrived...Well, this will make the rest take Akatsuki more seriously now. Also maybe we´ll see Kurenai go crazy and do something, because she hasn´t done anything worth mentioning in the series yet (fillers apart).

BTW, Shika starts smoking? Hahaha....but I think it has something to do with that thing Asuma told him about the king and we couldn´t hear/read...anyway I think it fits him well, I can´t imagine any other character smoking (maybe Sasuke?).

yah kurenai will prolly be crying and stuff, mayb want a little revenge on akatsuki who knows, but kurenai and asuma were like a couple so shell be the saddest out of every1. And shika is the best type to start smokin, hell be even kooler that way lol

with that episode, can it be that the next hokage after tsunade will be shika?

I personally think that the king Asuma spoke of is Naruto. It's pretty obvious to me. After all in the chapter they first had a panel of Asuma telling Shika who the king was, then in the very next panal is Naruto training on the wind element. It's either a wierd transition or forshadowing. Also, Naruto is the main character and a source of power for akatsuki.
